REMEMBERING AUGUST 8, 2023

As we approach the one-year anniversary of the devastating Maui wildfires, we pause to remember the lives lost, the homes destroyed, and the community forever changed. On August 8, 2023, our beloved Lahaina Town and parts of Upcountry Maui faced an unimaginable tragedy that tested our island's resilience and unity. Maui was the center of the world's attention.

As we reflect, we honor the memory of those we lost, celebrate the strength of our survivors, and reaffirm our commitment to rebuilding. While the scars remain, the spirit of aloha is stronger than ever, guiding us towards healing and renewal. As the smell of plumeria starts to return to Lahaina and the famous banyan tree sprouts new leaves, we invite you to join us in remembering, supporting, and contributing to the ongoing recovery efforts that will shape Lahaina's future.

A collection of community events have been organized to help our local community continue the healing process.
