Wa‘a Kiakahi on Kaanapali Beach

Head down to Ka'anapali Beach between June 6th and 8th to witness the 19th annual running of the Wa'a Kiakahi. The event celebrates Hawaiian sailing canoes as crews from all the Hawaiian Island bring their canoes to the West Maui coastline to share sailing knowledge and pracitices with the public. The three-day event features cultural ceremonies, canoe rides, educational talks, demonstrations about celestrial navigation, and event a race that starts at Ka'anapali Beach.
