Maui Fire Update

Last update 10/13/23 at 11am

Mahalo for your patience, understanding and compassion as our ohana and community navigate the many challenges brought on by the Maui wildfires. Our team continues to be focused on the wellbeing of our colleagues, owners, and guests. We will continue to update this page with new information as we receive it.

An Update on Lahaina and Puunoa Beach Estates:

Please note that the county is not allowing the general public to travel into the town of Lahaina, only approved emergency personnel. Puunoa Beach Estates has temporarily suspended operations.

Other West Maui Towns Open to Visitors:

Businesses from Kaanapali to Kapalua are operating normally. Our sister property in Kaanapali (Kaanapali Alii) is taking reservations. If you are considering a vacation to Maui, you may also be interested in our additional properties located in Wailea. Please call our reservations team at 866-664-6410 with any questions and to plan your next visit.

Road Precautions & Restrictions:

The highway into West Maui through Ma'alaea is open daily to all motorists. The Maui Police Department will cite and tow vehicles stopped along the Lahaina Bypass. Roads into Lahaina town are restricted to emergency personnel only.

Looking to Help & Support Maui Efforts?

We have organized a list of local businesses you may consider supporting when visiting as well as a list of options for donating or volunteering while on Maui. We have also set up a GoFundMe page that is supporting our staff members who tragically lost their homes in Lahaina. Contributions as they rebuild their lives are very much appreciated.
