The McBryde and Allerton Gardens are some of the most breathtaking botanical gardens in the world. Do you know who else agrees with us? Hollywood. Directors for years have used the Gardens as the backdrop for iconic movies like Jurassic Park and Pirates of the Caribbean. A walk through the grounds will leave little doubt about why Kauai is called The Garden Island.

The Spouting Horn

~3 miles, 8 minute drive

The Spouting Horn is a natural blowhole close to the McBryde and Allerton Gardens that has become one of the most photographed places in Hawaii. When the waves hit the cliffs right, The Spouting Horn creates a dramatic scene as it spews water vertically into the air. From December to May, it also serves as a great vantage point to see humpback whales from shore.
