Policies for The Islands at Mauna Lani

Deposit

  • One night refundable deposit, inclusive of tax, will be charged at the time of booking.
  • For stays of 21 nights or longer, a 50% non-refundable deposit, inclusive of tax, will be charged at the time of booking.
  • For Christmas/New Years (12/19/24-1/4/25) booking, a 50% non-refundable deposit inclusive of tax will be charged at time of booking.

Remaining Balance

  • For travel dates 1/1/24 - 12/18/24: Will automatically be charged on credit card provided 14 days prior to arrival.
  • For the Christmas/New Years period (12/19/24 – 1/4/25): Balance will be automatically charged 90 days prior to arrival.
  • For travel dates 1/5/25 - 12/18/25: Will automatically be charged on credit card provided 30 days prior to arrival.
  • For stays of 21 nights or longer: Balance will be automatically charged 60 days prior to arrival.

Cancellation Terms

  • Travel dates 1/1/24-12/18/24: 14 days or more notification prior to arrival, one night deposit will be refunded.
  • Travel dates 1/1/24-12/18/24: Less than 14 days notification prior to arrival, full reservation value will be forfeited/no refunds.
  • Travel dates 1/5/25-12/18/25: 30 days or more notification prior to arrival, one night deposit will be refunded.
  • Travel dates 1/5/25-12/18/25: Less than 30 days notification prior to arrival, full reservation value will be forfeited/no refunds.
  • For the Christmas/New Year’s period 12/19/24-1/4/25:
  • Cancellations 90 days or more prior to arrival: 50% deposit will be forfeited
  • Cancellation within 90 days of arrival: Full forfeiture of reservation value, no refunds

Fees

  • There is a $450 (for two-bedroom) and $500 (for three-bedroom) plus taxes housekeeping fee at the Islands of Mauna Lani
  • A non-refundable Damage Waiver fee of $79, plus tax if applicable, will be applied to the total cost of your reservation.   This will cover the costs of any accidental damage of the vacation rental and it's contents up to $1,500.  Click here to view the full damage waiver:  Damage Waiver

Other Terms & Conditions

  • A passport or U.S. government ID and an accepted credit card matching the name on the reservation will be required to check-in.
  • We honor MasterCard, Visa, American Express, JCB, Diners Club and Discover
  • No pets allowed
  • Rates are subject to 13.25% Transient Accommodations Tax and 4.712% General Excise Tax
  • All rates, fees and taxes are subject to change
  • All units are non-smoking and outdoor areas may be restricted in accordance with the individual property's Homeowner Association Rules
