Road to Hana

Haleakalā Sunrise

Witness the stunning sunrise from the summit of Haleakalā, a dormant volcano. The early morning spectacle above the clouds is truly unforgettable and often voted the top memory by tourists reflecting on their Maui vacation. Be sure to pack a jacket as temperatures can drop quickly at 10,000 feet elevation.

Maui's North Shore moves at slightly different pace then the rest of the island. Swing by the town of Paia where you can window shop through a wide assortment of stores catoring to surf junkies, health fanatics, wellness seekers, and swimsuit models. After window shopping, stop by the famous North Shore beach Ho'okipa to watch surfers and windsurfers ride some of the island's best waves.

Iao Valley State Park

Molokini Snorkeling

Take a boat trip to Molokini Crater for exceptional snorkeling in the clear waters, surrounded by vibrant marine life and coral reefs. There are a few excurions that combine a trip to Molokini with another stop at "Turtle Town" along the Makena coastline, where you are bound to encouter a few Hawaiian sea turtles.

Maui Ocean Center

Visit the Maui Ocean Center in Ma'alaea to learn about and observe Hawaii's marine life, including sharks, turtles, and tropical fish. Children will love the hands-on tidepools where they can interact with urchins, starfish, sea cucumbers, and more.

Spend a day at Makena Beach State Park, known for its beautiful beaches like Big Beach (Makena Beach) and the more secluded Little Beach. Do take note that this beach is known for it's big waves and dangerous shore break, so always be sure to keep an eye on the waves.
